Families will soon be rocking out at Segerstrom Center for the Arts as Childsplay brings the hit cartoon series Schoolhouse Rock to life on stage.

Rock out at BPA as SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE! JR. - a pop culture phenomenon - comes to the musical stage! The Emmy Award-winning 1970's Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math, and more through clever, tuneful songs is not only making a small-screen comeback, it's lighting up the stage at BPA this summer!

There were so many students good enough to be involved this year that it was necessary to divide them and have two full performances.

The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati celebrates its 90th birthday with a world premiere, an educational rock-and-roll spectacular - featuring one of Cincinnati's favorite bands on stage - plus two Disney favorites. The 2014-2015 season includes:

Live (this weekend, March 8 and 9 at the Asheville Masonic Temple) with proceeds to benefit their summer production of the musical version of EB White's classic, CHARLOTTE'S WEB (July 17-27 at NC Stage as part of the Catalyst Series).

This month, AFT presents BILLIE AND BILLY by AFT Artistic Associate Paul Oakley Stovall, with original music by Brad Simmons and directed by Krissy Vanderwarker, playing today, November 16 and tomorrow the 17th, 2013 at American Theater Company, 1909 W. Byron St. in Chicago.

About Face Theatre Company will kick off its new OUT FRONT SERIES, a year-round collection of free public readings and developmental workshops. For one exclusive night, step back into the golden age of underground society as About Face Presents THE BLACK AND TAN SUPPER CLUB tonight, October 11 from 7 pm - 10 pm. This magical throwback to Chicago's 'black and tan' nightclubs of the 1920s will take place at secret venue revealed just one week prior to the event, creating a singular experience of mystery.

For 36 years, JPAS has continued to bring the best in the performing arts to venues from Jefferson Parish, the Metro Area, to the North Shore and beyond. Thanks to loyal patron support we have grown to become Louisiana's largest professional touring company. Our offerings are abundantly varied and our outreach is extensive. As it enters its 18th season, About Face Theatre Company is pleased to announce the appointment of three new staff members in key leadership roles. Corinne Neal will serve as the company's Managing Director and Cara Thaxton as AFT's Development Director, both newly created positions. Ali Hoefnagel will succeed Sara Kerastas as AFT's Education and Outreach Director. Kerastas will continue her affiliation and artistic engagement with About Face as an Artistic Associate.

Due to popular demand, About Face Theatre's critically acclaimed Chicago premiere of THE PRIDE by Alexi Kaye Campbell (Olivier Award) and directed by Bonnie Metzgar has added two additional weeks of performances - extending through Saturday, July 27, 2013. In what promises to be one of the prime dance music compilations of 2013, Defected has teamed up the renowned Loco Dice to present Loco Dice In The House, due for release today, July 21.

Escape the New York summer heat with 'Christmas in July' at Joe's Pub at The Public where Chicago's About Face Theatre in association with John Sanders presents a concert version of WE THREE LIZAS, the new hit holiday musical that wowed Chicago audiences this past winter. WE THREE LIZAS plays Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St., New York) one night only on Monday, July 15 at 7 pm.
