ODC Theater announces its program for 2013, featuring artists committed to expanding the experience of contemporary performance.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, beloved as one of the world's most popular dance companies, will embark on a 21-city US tour from January 30 through May 19th. Following the 80th Anniversary Season's record-breaking attendance, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival announces the 2013 Festival schedule today. Jacob's Pillow is a National Historic Landmark, home to America's longest-running dance festival, and a recipient of the National Medal of Arts.

Works & Process at the Guggenheim has announced its spring 2013 season. Since 1984, the performing-arts series has championed new works and offered audiences unprecedented access to leading creators and performers. Each intimate, 80-minute performance uniquely combines artistic creation and stimulating conversation and takes place in the Guggenheim's Frank Lloyd Wright-designed, 285-seat Peter B. Lewis Theater, where new reserved seating is now offered. A reception for the audience and artists follows most programs. Described by the New York Times as "a popular series devoted to shedding light on the creative process," Works & Process is produced by founder Mary Sharp Cronson. This week is the final opportunity this season to experience Alvin Ailey's masterpiece Revelations with live music - African American spirituals performed by soul-stirring vocalists - as well as with an expanded cast of 50 dancers on Saturday's family matinee! Brown's landmark Grace on Tuesday, December 11th, other upcoming performance highlights include 'All New' programs and the Company premiere of Artistic Director Robert Battle's Strange Humors.

Harlem Stage has announced that tonight's performance, November 1st, must be cancelled due to limited access for its production crew to stage Kyle Abraham/Abraham.In.Motion's Pavement. Friday's 7:30pm, and Saturday's 3:00pm and 7:30pm performances will go on as planned.

Dance New Amsterdam (DNA) will showcase six emerging dance-makers in its RAW Material series, an annual program which supports the work of budding choreographers who have shown promise to affect the field of dance. This year's performances, tonight, October 4 and tomorrow, October 5, feature a broad spectrum of dance, with world premiere works by Tough Cookie Dance/Michael Philip Richman and Josselyn Levinson-Dustin, Ashley Brown, Hadley Smith, Kellie Lynch & Tara Lee Burns, Anna Marie Shogren, and Abby Zbikowski|the new utility. All artists worked with Bessie Award-winning choreographer Yanira Castro to prepare for the production. Both shows are at 7:30 p.m.
