Today in 1999, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown closed at the Ambassador Theatre, where it ran for 149 performances. You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a 1967 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. The revival cast featured Anthony Rapp as Charlie Brown, Kristin Chenoweth as Sally and Roger Bart as Snoopy.

The 19-date North American leg of the tour kicked off May 9th in Seattle and concludes in Chenoweth's hometown of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on June 24th. In between, she'll be making her first appearance at PlayhouseSquare's Palace Theatre, tonight, June 13 for one 7:30 pm show.

ABC's GCB First Season Released on DVD Today, 6/12

ABC Studios previously announced the May/June DVD debut of four new TV series on DVD, just weeks after their season one finales on ABC-TV. The spring releases began May 22 with the DVD debut of the paranormal thriller "The River." The network's hilarious "GCB" struts its stuff to DVD today, June 12, and both the explosive thriller "Scandal" and the mystery-suspense sensation "Missing" head home to DVD, also today, June 12.
