HBO just revealed a GAME OF THRONES' Season 5 premiere date of Sunday, April 12, 2015 via Twitter, writing, 'Send a raven and spread the word.'

If GAME OF THRONES is known for anything, it's the constant violent content and frequent on-screen deaths. HBO's hit fantasy intrigue show has lately been under fire regarding its graphic plots, with some speculating that the blood and gore is quite excessive. However, the stars do not agree.

According to Torrent Freak, HBO's GAME OF THRONES was 2014's most pirated TV show online. The fourth season finale of the series scored 8.1 million illegal downloads, handily beating last year's season finale record of 5.9 million.

HBO has confirmed some of the new cast members for the fifth season of the hit series GAME OF THRONES, with many of them appearing in a video that was unveiled today at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2014.

Pryce, a Tony and Olivier winner, will play the High Sparrow. His character is described as: 'A devout and pious man, the High Sparrow came to King's Landing to serve those forgotten by much of the world - the poor, the downtrodden and the infirm - and quickly amassed a large following. His fellow believers have swarmed over the city, ministering to the lowest and decrying the corruption of the highest.'

During the iconic British changing of the royal guards ceremony at London's Buckingham Palace, the guards surprised the crowd by playing the theme song of HBO's series 'Game of Thrones'!
