In Emmy-nominee Sheldon Bull's world-premiere plays MALLORCA, male bonding takes its toll on four guys when a cryptic message from one of them leads the others on a hilarious chase from Manhattan to a seaside escape.

Rehearsals began today for Abingdon Theatre Company's world premiere of MALLORCA by two-time Emmy nominee Sheldon Bull ('Newhart'), with performances set to run May 29-June 21, in the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre (312 West 36th Street). Abingdon Theatre Company - which has produced more than 83 new American plays in its 22-year history - is set to celebrate its 2014-2015 Season with ABINGDON: WHERE THE STARS ALIGN, its annual benefit gala and dinner, tonight, October 20 at Espace (635 West 42nd Street in Manhattan). Emmy and OBIE award-winning actor John Cunningham, whose credits include 19 Broadway productions (Titanic, Love Letters), is set to emcee the event, which begins at 6:00pm.

Abingdon Theatre Company announces that the world premiere of Brian Richard Mori's HELLMAN v. McCARTHY, a new play the feud between literary legends Lillian Hellman and Mary McCarthy, will be recorded by THIRTEEN Productions LLC for WNET on Friday, April 11 at 8pm. The Off-Broadway play starring Dick Cavett, Roberta Maxwell and Marcia Rodd, will be filmed for broadcast on a future date.
