On August 6th, the World Premiere of GLEE The 3D Concert Movie took place at the Mann Village Theater. According to USA Today, Jane Lynch has been completely cut from the theatrical release of the film, but will be featured on the DVD. Though Lynch did not tour with the rest of the cast, she appeared at one of the concert stops.

GLEE's ensemble already includes Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Heather Morris, Matthew Morrison, Mike O'Malley, Amber Riley, Naya Rivera, Mark Salling, Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet, and Jenna Ushkowitz - and the show will add even more to the mix with the introduction of a slew of new characters for the third season.

GLEE might not be back in full swing until Septeber, but the boys of the show re giving fans something to laugh about. Mark Salling wrote on twitter: 'The Glee bros and I wanted to keep up our chops over the hiatus so we formed a tribute band.' Check out the photo of the stars as the Village People below!

Twentieth Century Fox announced today that special advance showings of GLEE: THE 3D CONCERT MOVIE will unspool on August 10, 2011, giving fans of the global phenomenon, known as 'Gleeks,' an early opportunity to celebrate, share and experience GLEE like never before...and in 3D...two days prior to the film's global launch.
