Alison Pill, currently starring on Broadway in the Helen Keller drama, THE MIRACLE WORKER, recently sat down with New York Magazine to discuss her career and her penchant for playing dark roles.

At the young age of 13, actress Abigail Breslin is already a film veteran with a slew of films to her name including 'Signs', 'Definitely, Maybe', 'My Sister's Keeper', and the bittersweet 'Little Miss Sunshine' for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award. But it may be Breslin's latest challenging role, that of the deaf-mute Helen Keller on Broadway's 'The Miracle Worker', which may redefine the young actress' already-high artistic reach.

The national tour of the hit Broadway show GREASE will play its final performance on May 23rd in Cleveland. The tour was originally supposed to hold a limited run in Boston; however, that run has been canceled. The tour will play Cleveland's Palace Theatre from May 11th through the 23rd.

The 50th Anniversary production of William Gibson's Tony Award(r) winning THE MIRACLE WORKER, directed by Kate Whoriskey and starring Academy Award(r) nominee Abigail Breslin and Tony Award(r) nominee Alison Pill, plays its first performance tonight, Friday, February 12, ahead of a Wednesday, March 3 opening at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50 Street).

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held daily for WICKED, which will be performing from Wednesday, February 17 through Sunday, March 7 at The Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, in downtown Dayton.

Eden Espinosa, who has performed the role of Elphaba to critical acclaim on Broadway, San Francisco, and in Los Angeles, will return to San Francisco to star in the open-ended engagement of WICKED now playing at the Orpheum Theatre. Since it's opening in the Bay Area a year ago, WICKED has been seen by close to a million people. And the show continues to be a cultural phenomenon having just shattered its own record to become the highest grossing show in Broadway history.

Artist Robert Rodriguez has designed logos for several big name companies over the years. Most notably, he gave the famed Quaker Oats man a makeover to make him more appealing to the health-conscious masses. Most recently, Rodriguez was tapped to design the artwork for the upcoming Broadway production of LEND ME A TENOR, starring Tony Shalhoub and Anthony LaPaglia and directed by Stanley Tucci.

The national tour of WICKED will close at the Civic Center's Crouse-Hinds Theater's stage on January 31.
