A Work of Heart Productions (WHP) is proud to bring Jason Howland, Midi Dickstein and Allan Knee's Broadway musical, Little Women to Feinstein's/54 Below on Saturday, September 9th at 9:30pm.

Zachary Noah Piser (Wicked), Elena Wang (Allegiance) and Karl Josef Co (Pacific Overtures) will lead the first full industry presentations of TIANANMEN, a new musical directed by Stafford Arima (Allegiance, Altarboyz) and written by Scott Elmegreen and Drew Fornarola (off-Broadway's STRAIGHT) with musical direction by Rodney Bush. The readings will be held on April 27th and 28th in midtown.

Due to unprecedented demand for tickets, David Mirvish the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers have announced that the Canadian premiere production of MATILDA THE MUSICAL is once again forcing them to extend its run, this time through January 8th, 2017. This will be the final extension, MATILDA must leave Toronto after its final performance on January 8th.

With performances only beginning last week, David Mirvish and The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers are delighted to announce that popular demand for the Canadian premiere production of MATILDA THE MUSICAL is once again forcing them to extend its run, this time through November 27, 2016.

Starring a cast of acclaimed Canadian musical theatre performers in principal roles and three exciting young talents sharing the title role, MATILDA THE MUSICAL is produced by The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers presented in Toronto by David Mirvish as part of his 2015-16 Main Subscription Season. Performances begin Tuesday July 5 at the Ed Mirvish Theatre, with the media night scheduled forThursday, July 7 at 6:45 PM. Tickets are now available for performances until October 16, 2016.

National Asian Artists Project celebrated its 5th Anniversary of 'showcasing the work of Asian-American theatre artists through performance, outreach and educational programming' on October 5th at 8pm at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (56 LaGuardia Place) with PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE, a one-night-only Gala Benefit evening featuring a line-up of show-stopping wall-to-wall musical numbers from Broadway shows, highlights from past NAAP productions and current material, as well as what Ms. Lee hopes to stage in the future. On Thursday, June 25th, the Clear Space Theatre Company in Rehoboth will kick off its rotating summer productions of GREASE, RENT, and SEUSSICAL, which will feature thirteen visiting actors from all across the east coast. 

Last night, Baayork Lee and her National Asian Artists Project raised the curtain on their production of OLIVER! The production that plays through tomorrow night only, was made possible with special permission from Cameron Mackintosh and Tams-Witmark Music Library, Inc.

True to its core mission of showcasing the talents of Asian-American theater artists, National Asian Artists Project (NAAP), which presented the Broadway musical 'Hello, Dolly!' last year, is now facing the challenge of staging Lionel Bart's beloved Broadway musical OLIVER!, featuring a 65-member all-Asian cast made up of 20 child actors, including Bonale Zon Fambrini, who will play the title role; 25 professional adult actors; and 20 members of the NAAP Broadway Community Chorus.

After the tremendous success of Hatched: Fresh Work. Freshmen (2013), Hatched: New Work in New York (2012) and Rated RSO: College Edition (2011), Ryan Scott Oliver and Pace University's Musical Theater Class of 2017 will present the annual freshmen cabaret HATCHED. The show Hatched is a presentation of brand new work performed by brand new singers tonight, May 14th at 9:30pm and 11:30pm at 54 Below. Scroll down to meet the performers!
