WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced that the submission deadline for the 15th annual Out of the Loop Fringe Festival will be extended through November 20, 2015.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced casting and creative team details for the regional premiere of Lord of the Flies, directed by Kelsey Leigh Ervi. The production, based on the William Golding novel and adapted for the stage by Nigel Williams, will run January 22 - February 14, 2016. And what will take the place of all the electronic devices we use to amuse and inform ourselves? One possible set of answers is very entertainingly explored in in Mr. Burns, a post-electric play, by Anne Washburn with score by Michael Friedman, beginning its 6-week regional premiere tonight, August 6 at Stage West.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced a new initiative called WOMEN IN THEATRE. The event will be presented under the auspices of Women of WaterTower Theatre and it is co-chaired by Karol Omlor, Suzanne Palmlund and Andrea Redmon. The first lecture, which will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm (with a post-lecture reception in the lobby with the artists), is in the Main Space at WaterTower Theatre featuring women stage directors. The lecture will be moderated by the Dallas Observer's Arts and Culture editor Lauren Smart, and features stage directors Phyllis Cicero (Jubilee Theatre), Cheryl Denson (Uptown Players), Kelsey Leigh Ervi (WaterTower Theatre), Katherine Owens (Undermain Theatre) and Susan Sargeant (Wingspan Theatre).
