The Downtown Players, part of Lambertville's Downtown Performing Arts Center, ring in the holiday season with two special productions: A Christmas Carol and Frosty and Rudolph. Both shows, set to run this weekend, beginning today, December 21 and continuing Saturday, December 22 and Sunday, December 23, will be performed at the South Hunterdon Regional High School Theatre located at 301 Mount Airy - Harbourton Road in Lambertville, New Jersey.

The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers today announced the casting of the principal roles and the ensemble in the eagerly anticipated Broadway-bound musical MATILDA THE MUSICAL. They are (alphabetically): Karen Aldridge (Mrs. Phelps), Gabriel Ebert (Mr. Wormwood), Lesli Margherita (Mrs. Wormwood), and Lauren Ward (Miss Honey).

SPRING AWAKENING and GLEE alum Jonathan Groff has officially signed on to join Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell in Disney's upcoming animated musical feature FROZEN. The Tony-nominated actor will help bring the character 'Kristoff' to life. The icey, epic journey is set for a Nov. 27, 2013 theatrical release.

Deadline now reports that discussusions are underway between Starz and Lionsgate TV about a possible two-hour TV movie that would tie up the loose ends of the storyline.

Variety reports that the Starz network has canceled its series BOSS, starring Kelsey Grammer. The series has suffered from low ratings throughout its current season.
