Over the years, there have been countless adaptations of the writer's classic story with a number of celebrities playing the miserly Scrooge (or a variation of the character) from Kelsey Grammer and Michael Caine to George C. Scott and Albert Finney to Vanessa Williams and Susan Lucci.

Starz has added Lela Loren (Snitch, “Gang Related”), Naturi Naughton (Fame, “The Client List,” “Mad Men”) and Joseph Sikora (Jack Reacher, Safe, “Boardwalk Empire”) to the cast of the upcoming hour-long STARZ Original drama series “Power” executive produced by Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson and created by Courtney Kemp Agboh ('The Good Wife'), who will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Mark Canton (300, 300: Rise of an Empire, Escape Plan), Randall Emmett (End of Watch, 2 Guns,Lone Survivor) and David Knoller (“Big Love,' 'Carnivàle”) serve as executive producers in association with CBS Television Studios.

People Magazine reports that Camille Grammer 'underwent a radical hysterectomy today,' her rep, Howard Bragman, told the magazine. 'The surgery went well, and she is expected to make a complete recovery following a significant recuperation period.' '[She] has been diligent about regular checkups and monitoring, which explains the early detection and rapid treatment,' Bragman said. 'Ms. Grammer expresses gratitude to all the amazing health care professionals who have taken such loving and nurturing care of her.'

Rice has written for television shows including "The New Adventures of Old Christine" on CBS and the upcoming Kelsey Grammer-Martin Lawrence Project on FX. Green is a veteran of Hasty Pudding Theatricals and a frequent orchestrator for Laurence O'Keefe (Heathers, Sarah Plain and Tall).
