A+E Networks Inks Overall Production and First-Look Development Deal with Elizabeth Vargas

A+E Networks is partnering with award-winning journalist Elizabeth Vargas (20/20, ABC News) on an overall first-look development and production deal. The announcement was made today by Elaine Frontain Bryant, EVP & Head of Programming, A&E Network. The centerpiece of the agreement will make Vargas the face of the network's new nonfiction primetime journalistic banner A&E Investigates(TM). Utilizing Vargas' deep background in investigative reporting, the collection of premium nonfiction series and specials will take an unfiltered look at the often unseen stories of people and events in our society, that although relatively unknown, have a profound impact on our culture.

The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF) announced the winners of the 43 rd annual Gracie Awards to take place May 22 at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles. The event will recognize such esteemed honorees as Ashley Judd, Billie Jean King, Claire Danes, Elizabeth Marvel, Hoda Kotb, Issa Rae, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Katie Couric, Megan Mullally, Pam Oliver, Reese Witherspoon, and Shirley Strawberry, along with some of the most talented women in television, radio and digital media. Local and student award winners will be recognized at the Gracie Awards Luncheon on June 27 at Cipriani in New York City.

VH1 today revealed the cast for the milestone 10th season of Emmy(R) Award-winning 'RuPaul's Drag Race.' The newest queens vying for the title of 'America's Next Drag Superstar' were announced during tonight's episode of 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars,' followed by a Facebook Live that introduced fans to the 14 competitors. The supersized season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race' premieres on Thursday, March 22 at 8:00 PM ET/PT and will feature 90-minute episodes, giving fans more fashion, lip-syncs and drag than ever before. The Emmy(R) Award-nominated after-show 'RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked' will premiere immediately following at 9:30 PM ET/PT.
