Magic Theatre extends its legacy revival of Sam Shepard's award-winning drama Fool for Love until March 5th due to popular demand. The production was slated to close on February 26th, but five performances have been added to the end of the run after enthusiastic feedback from audiences and rave reviews in the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Examiner, and San Jose Mercury News.

This season's PlayFest lineup will be dedicated to new works that have a direct correlation to themes relating to the Pulse shooting that took place in Orlando on June 12, 2016. The groundbreaking new works will include Israel Horovitz's The Day Before Yesterday, Karen Zacarias'Native Gardens, Allison Gregory's Motherland, Lee Blessing's Minneapolis/St. Paul, and John Biguenet's Ever After.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater (Orlando Shakes) in Partnership with UCF invites audiences to take a risk on new plays at PlayFest presented by Harriett's Charitable Trust from November 3 - 6, 2016. This year's four-day event titled PlayFest: After Pulse will feature six new plays that explore issues surrounding the Pulse tragedy. Artistic Director Rainee Denham and Chimera Ensemble are proud to present the Chicago premiere of Colette Freedman's Sister Cities, directed by Ashley Neal, August 20 - September 18 at The Den, 1333 N. Milwaukee.  Sister Cities runs Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Ticket prices are $22 - 26. Based on availability, industry tickets are $10 with a headshot and resume presented to the box office for all performances.
