The new Broadway musical SCANDALOUS: The Life and Trials of Aimee Semple McPherson will play its final performance at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street) on Sunday, December 9 at 3 p.m.

This holiday season, the new Broadway musical SCANDALOUS: The Life and Trials of Aimee Semple McPherson has partnered with The New York Dream Center in a new citywide community outreach initiative, 'An Evening of Dreams.'

Featuring book and lyrics by Kathie Lee Gifford and music by David Pomeranz and David Friedman, Scandalous opened at Broadway's Neil Simon Theatre earlier this month on November 15. According to the New York Times, show creator Kathie Lee Gifford, and lead producers Dick and Betsy DeVos are working hard to prevent an early closing.

Singer, songwriter, and poet Ruth Carlin brings back her well-received, passionate show 'SongMoments' to the Duplex this autumn for two very special performances tonight, November 29 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 2 at 4:30 p.m.

David Pomeranz, pop hitmaker and "Scandalous" on Broadway's composer, will hold a one-night-only solo concert at 54 Below, Broadway's famed nightclub, on Sunday, December 9 at 7 p.m.

I am reflecting this morning on the glory of live theatre and the community that makes it. As we prepare to open SCANDALOUS tomorrow night at the Neil Simon Theatre, it just staggers me to think about all the many people that have given most of the hours of their days for the past three months to get to this point. Every single department on this production has given above and beyond the 'normal'. In fact, it is incredible. The definition of 'incredible' is: so extraordinary as to seem impossible.
