Hampstead's FOUR MINUTES TWELVE SECONDS and THE WASP Transfer to Trafalgar Studios This Winter

The two most successful productions in the last twelve months from Hampstead Downstairs are transferring to Trafalgar Studios for a back-to-back run. Following on from its Olivier Award nomination in April, James Fritz's debut play FOUR MINUTES TWELVE SECONDS will open the season on Thursday, 12 November, 7.45 p.m., followed by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm's sell-out THE WASP, starting on Friday, 11th December, 7.45 p.m.

The Catholic Archdiocese of New York's new downtown cultural initiative, The Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen Center for Thought and Culture, located at 18 Bleecker Street, today announced a schedule of diverse and dynamic programming, as part of its upcoming Grand Opening. The celebratory events will run from Monday, September 14 through Sunday, October 4, 2015, presenting works that explore the heights and depths of the human condition through thought and culture.

Pop quiz hotshot: what do you get when you take a Marvel movie and remove the fun, action, compelling characters, emotional stakes, and everything else that makes it recognizable as a Marvel movie? Time's up. Did you say FANTASTIC FOUR? If so, congratulations, you can skip this impossibly useless film and wait until February's release of DEADPOOL. If you didn't come up with the correct answer, your punishment is to watch this movie and all pre-WINTER SOLDIER episodes of MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. on repeat until all character rights revert back to Disney and Marvel Studios.

Comedy Central is heading to Comic-Con with a plethora of events. It kicks off with panels in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront on Thursday, July 9 starting with the upcoming animated series “Moonbeam City” (moderator Scott Aukerman, star and Producer Rob Lowe, series creator and Executive Producer Scott Gairdner, Executive Producer Tommy Blacha, Executive Producer Richie Schwartz) from 4:00-5:00 p.m. The evening continues with back-to-back panels from 6:00-7:30 p.m. featuring “Drunk History” (moderator Paul F. Tompkins; co-creator, host, Director Derek Waters; co-creator, Director Jeremy Konner; series recurring guest stars Taran Killam and Paget Brewster) followed by new series “Another Period” (stars and Executive Producers Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome, series co-stars Armen Weitzman, Michael Ian Black, Paget Brewster; and Executive Producer, Director Jeremy Konner).
