The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) today unveiled The Student Movement, an initiative aimed at ensuring students* from across Australia have access to the world class performance of Ballet Preljocaj's Snow White exclusive to QPAC this September.

The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) International Series 2016 was announced today confirming an Australian exclusive season from France's Ballet Preljocaj performing only in Brisbane at the Lyric Theatre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) from 2 to 11 September 2016.

Fresh off their first-place win in ShortLived (PianoFight's audience-judged short play competition), they are bringing the heat (read: fart jokes) with brand new sketches in "Summer in the City" running July 9-18, 2015 (Thur-Sat at 8pm) at PianoFight (144 Taylor St., San Francisco). Since becoming Artistic Director of the Old Vic, Kevin Spacey has proven time and time again that he has the knowledge and understanding to constantly provide London theatre-goers with fantastic productions. Yael Farber's adaptation of Arthur Miller's The Crucible is no exception. Though three and a half hours long, the continued intensity and drama means that the audience is flabbergasted at how quickly the time goes.

In celebration of the LGBTQ community and its advocates, the NEW YORK NEO-FUTURISTS will perform a special, one-weekend-only version of their ongoing, award-winning show Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind featuring 30 short plays in 60 minutes. This year's performance will feature 30 original LGBTQ-themed plays, including 15 world-premiers and 15 fan favorites from years past.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the nominees for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards. Many of the major categories were announced this morning on 'CBS News' 'The Early Show,' by Bree Williamson (Jessica Brennan on 'One Life to Live,' ABC) and Travis Stork ('The Doctors,' Syndicated) including the naming of the Lifetime Achievement honoree, Agnes Nixon, the grand dame of Daytime serial drama.
