National Ballet of Canada's Robert Binet Creates New Full-Length Ballet for Theatre Ballet Moscow

Robert Binet, Choreographic Associate with The National Ballet of Canada, creates a new full-length ballet for Theatre Ballet Moscow, The Kreutzer Sonata. Based on Leo Tolstoy's novella of the same name, The Kreutzer Sonata makes its world premiere June 1 – July 13, 2017 with five performances at The Meyerhold Theatre Centre in Moscow.

Celebrating its 140th anniversary, Swan Lake closes the National Ballet's 65th anniversary season at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, June 15 - 25, 2017.

Karen Kain, Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada, and Kevin O'Hare, Director of The Royal Ballet, today announced that the two companies will collaborate in a unique performance of Robert Binet's The Dreamers Ever Leave You in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation. Receiving its UK premiere, the ballet will be performed by dancers from both companies in the vast industrial space of The Printworks, Canada Water in London from Thursday, October 12 to Friday, October 13, 2017.
