Paul Garman, Executive Director/Producer, has announced that Davis Gaines (LA's PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, MTW's MAN OF LA MANCHA & MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT) will make his Los Angeles-area directorial debut for the upcoming MTW production of OKLAHOMA!, which will preview on February 15 and run for 12 performances through March 3, 2013. OKLAHOMA!, as with all Musical Theatre West productions, is created from the ground up at its rehearsal studios in Long Beach using a blend of both professional actors from Broadway, Hollywood and national tours, and the best in local talent.

Walnut Street Theatre's 2012-2013 Independence Studio on 3 season opens with a mix of classic Holiday songs and fun 1950's tunes in PLAID TIDINGS, just in time for the holidays. Directed by Larry Raben, this toe-tapping production begins with previews on November 20th, opens November 29th and continues through December 30th in the Walnut's Independence Studio on 3. Atlantic recording artist Rumer has announced the U.S. release of her new album, 'BOYS DON'T CRY.' The collection -- which follows recent domestic release of the British singer/songwriter's acclaimed debut, 'SEASONS OF MY SOUL' -- arrives on these shores today, September 25th.

The huge cult classic film/book: VALLEY OF THE DOLLS will hit the Los Angeles stage for a one night only - '99% all-male stage reading' to benefit writer, producer, director, Sean Abley's 2013 AIDS/Lifecycle fundraising campaign.

At noon tomorrow, August 25th, the final performance of James Fluhr and Company's critically acclaimed Our Lady will take place at the Living Theatre (21 Clinton Street). EMP Theatricals will present SHOOTING STARS IN JORDAN, written & performed by SARAH BROWN & developed by Brown & David Kaye, as part of the 16th Annual New York International Fringe Festival/FringeNYC. The production will be directed by KAREN LYNN CARPENTER.
