The Brooklyn College Department of Theater will hold its second annual New Works Brooklyn Festival on June 22-26. This year's festival features staged readings of one-act plays written by award-winning playwrights.

Dr. Barbara Ann Teer's National Black Theatre (NBT) will celebrate 47 years of keeping soul alive in Harlem with the eighth annual TEER Spirit Awards Gala tonight, June 18.

On Monday, June 22, Barefoot Theatre Company celebrates the second annual Vassallo Awards with a Spring Gala beginning at 7:15 pm at the American Ballroom Theater on 25 West 31st Street in Manhattan.
