TIME Magazine's #1 Show of the Year, Matilda The Musical, is coming to Houston as part of Theatre Under The Stars' 2015/16 season. Produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Dodgers, the first national tour of Matilda The Musical will be coming to The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts October 6 - 18.

The First National Tour of Matilda the Musical, produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers, launches tonight, May 29, with an official tour opening set for June 7, 2015 at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.

Casting has been announced for the First National Tour of Matilda the Musical. Produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers, the First National Tour of Matilda the Musical will begin this May with technical rehearsals and performances at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, CT, with the official tour opening at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles on June 7, 2015.

Broadway Kids Care announced that actress Kaci Walfall of The Lion King on Broadway, and Graham Montgomery currently performing in Kinky Boots on Broadway, will assist actress and UNICEF National Board Member, Tea Leoni, with the lighting of the UNICEF Snowflake on Monday, November 17 at the 2014 UNICEF Snowflake lighting ceremony located at the storefront of Bergdorf Goodman.

The next Cabaret for a Cause will be held December 8th, 2014.

Attention Dance Moms and Broadway Kids Fans! Cabaret for a Cause will present a one-night-only concert Aug. 11 at Brooklyn's Galapagos Arts Space to benefit kef productions and their education program, Story Shifters.

The 6th Annual National High School Musical Awards presented the coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor on Monday, June 30 at Broadway's Minskoff Theater, to Jai' Len Josey representing the Georgia High School Musical Theater Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards and Jonah Rawitz, representing the Illinois High School Musical Theater Awards. Youth Theater has announced a new production of Michael Slade and Joel Gelpe's The Little Moon Theater, based on the book by Irene Haas, with choreography by Joanna Greer, musical direction by Jim Colleran and direction by Janine Nina Trevens. The Little Moon Theater will play a limited engagement at at TADA! Theater (15 West 28th St. 3rd Fl. New York, NY 10001). Performances begin today, January 19 and continue through Saturday, February 16.
