Audiences have a final chance to 'Seize the Day!' - tickets are now available for Disney's Newsies: The Broadway Musical!, playing in U.S. movie theaters for three days only on Thursday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday February 18 at 12:55 p.m. and Wednesday, February 22 at 7:00 p.m. (all local times). Captured live at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre earlier this year, the event reunites original cast members Jeremy Jordan, Kara Lindsay, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, and Ben Fankhauser. Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Kinky Boots, the Tony and Grammy Award-winning hit musical, will receive a German production this December at The Stage Operettenhaus in Hamburg, produced by Stage Entertainment.

Beginning performances tonight, November 15, Nathaniel Stampley will assume the role of Mister in John Doyle's Tony Award-winning production of the Broadway musical, The Color Purple.

As previously announced, Todrick Hall joins the Broadway company of Kinky Boots as 'Lola' in the Tony Award-winning musical, beginning tonight, November 1, 2016, for a run through March 5, 2017.

The Tony Award-winning revival of THE COLOR PURPLE will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Upon closing, the production will have played 449 regular and 33 preview performances at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 W 45th Street). A North American tour of the production will launch in the fall of 2017.

The Casting Society of America has announced the nominees for the 32nd Annual Artios Awards. The ceremony, which honors excellence in casting in all forms of entertainment, has included some of the theatre's finest among their 2016 nominations.

Aaron C. Finley, Shannon O'Boyle and Haven Burton joined the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots earlier this summer in the roles of Charlie Price, Nicola and Lauren, respectively.
