The producers of ANASTASIA have just announced that Cody Simpson will join the Broadway company as leading man 'Dmitry' beginning November 29, 2018. Original company member Zach Adkins will play his final performance on Sunday, November 25.

ASCAP, The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, the world leader in performing rights and advocacy for music creators, is convening a roster of top female songwriters, producers, artists and engineers for its first “She Is The Music” Song Camp, including the Grammy-winning, Oscar-nominated Mary J. Blige. Hit producer and music executive Ron Fair is donating his Faircraft Studio in Nashville for the event, which will take place October 17 - 19.

It's been 10 years since Spotify officially launched for fans. Since October 2008, fans all over the world have enjoyed a decade of music discovery, finding new artists and tracks to fall in love with and rediscovering old favorites. Spotify now has 180 million monthly active listeners across 65 countries. And as of August 31, 2018, they've paid over 10 billion euros to rights holders since launch. Spotify has a music library of over 40 million songs and podcasts, and 3 billion-plus user-created playlists. And to date, over 2,000 genres have been identified on Spotify, among them Wonky (electronic music characterized by synths with unusual time signatures), Shimmer Pop (a Swedish cousin of indie pop and indietronica), and British Blues (the blues … with a British flavor).

Greta Van Fleet Announces the 'March of the Peaceful Army' World Tour

Greta Van Fleet, one of the most buzzed-about new rock bands today, announces the “March of the Peaceful Army” World Tour and initial headline dates for 2019.  These dates are in support of the band's debut album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, that is due out October 19 (Lava/Republic Records).  As part of the itinerary, the band will visit Australia for the first time playing concerts in four cities beginning in Sydney on January 29.  The band then heads to Europe and the UK in February and March for 12 dates, followed by four weeks of North American shows from early May to early June.  All confirmed dates are below.  Tickets go on sale on 19 October 2018 at LiveNation.co.uk.

The acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series will continue on December 3 at 8pm, honoring singer-songwriter John Legend with a bombshell cast of Broadway stars including Eden Espinosa (Brooklyn), J. Harrison Ghee (Kinky Boots) and Solea Pfeiffer (Hamilton). The one-night-only concert will feature completely new arrangements of the hits of the American singer, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations of his music.

New York City Ballet announced today that a new work by choreographer Emma Portner, previously scheduled to premiere on Thursday, January 31 as part of the Company's annual New Combinations evening, will now premiere at NYCB's 2019 Spring Gala performance on Thursday, May 2.

Dick clark productions and ABC today announced that multiplatinum rapper, singer and songwriter, Cardi B will perform at the "2018 American Music Awards," marking her very first televised awards show performance since the birth of her child in July. Cardi B ties for top-nominated AMA artist this year with a total of eight nominations, including New Artist of the Year presented by Capital One® Savor® Card and Favorite Artist - Rap/Hip-Hop. Joining Cardi B onstage will be multiplatinum-selling Latin singers Bad Bunny and J Balvin. The trio joins previously announced performers benny blanco with Halsey and Khalid, Mariah Carey, Post Malone featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Carrie Underwood.
