Tonight, October 26th, BROADWAY SESSIONS offers its 3rd annual ELPHABALL, a night celebrating the ladies who have portrayed one of the most iconic roles in contemporary muscle theater, Elphaba!

Capturing the charm of the original source material, TALES OF THE CITY benefits from a strong cast fully committed to the work. Yet if Broadway is the goal, quite a bit of retooling, balancing and focusing remains, all within the grasp of this talented team.

MOSTLY SONDHEIM, the long-running open mic night at the Duplex on Friday nights features Broadway guests and theme nights. The night is hosted by Kate Pazakis (Jerry Springer the Opera at Carnegie Hall, Newsical, and the new solo recording Kate Pazakis Unzipped)and Todd Buonopane (Broadway's Spelling Bee & Grease, television's 30 Rock). Previous guests have included Julie Rieber and Sarah Stiles.

On February 16th, some of today's brightest Broadway talent came together at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club and celebrated the compositions of songwriter Katie Thompson. Thompson, accompanied each performer as well as herself on the piano, and was joined by cellists Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf and Allison Seidner.
