Eric Stonestreet has receieved the 2010 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy for Modern Family. Stonestreet plays 'Cameron' on the series.

The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards is airing live coast to coast tonight, on August 29 (8-11 p.m. EST) on NBC, originating from the Nokia Theatre L.A. in Los Angeles. The awards are being produced by Don Mischer and hosted by Jimmy Fallon.

ABC's hit sitcom, 'Modern Family' is known for its realistic portrayal of the average family. However, the behavior of the show's gay couple, Cameron (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Mitchell (Eric Stonestreet) exemplify the latest inconsistency to be picked up by viewers. USA Network has reached an agreement with Twentieth Television, acquiring the exclusive syndication rights to the critically acclaimed ratings hit MODERN FAMILY. The announcement was made today by Jane Blaney, USA's executive vice president, programming, acquisitions and scheduling and Steve MacDonald, EVP, General Sales Manager, Basic Cable of Twentieth Television. Under the agreement, USA will strip the series Monday through Sunday beginning Fall 2013.
