BBC London 94.9FM's special gala performance of hit musical JERSEY BOYS at the Prince Edward Theatre in London on Wednesday 17 November 2010 raised a staggering £60,150 for BBC Children in Need.

The producers of smash-hit West End show 'JERSEY BOYS' have commissioned Pink Banana Studios, a new digital production company, to create an innovative 3D cinema advert, which first aired on Friday 5 March at 300 cinemas across London and the South East, before screenings of Tim Burton's 'Alice in Wonderland'. This is the first 3D cinema advert in the world to be created by a theatre production company.

At last night's Visit London People's Choice Awards 2008 held at the Royal Albert Hall and hosted by Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon, JERSEY BOYS won the 95.8 Capital FM Best West End Show Award, an award voted for by Londoners and visitors to London. Other winners included Michael Caine, voted London's Favourite Londoner, and the O2, which won 95.8 Capital FM Best Music Venue Award.

The Broadway smash Jersey Boys may transfer to the West End in a staging presented by impresario Cameron Mackintosh.
