Opening night of any Broadway show is an electrically charged event, but the excitement level was on high voltage for these young stars.

School of Rock: THE MUSICAL, with music from the movie, as well as an original score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater, a book by Julian Fellowes and direction by Laurence Connor, made its World Premiere on Broadway on Sunday night, December 6, at the Winter Garden Theatre. In the show, lovable conman Dewey Finn trades in lesson plans for guitar jams and teaches the kids of Horace Green the ABCs of rock and roll. Today, 7 December 2015, Andrew Lloyd Webber announces that following its triumphant Broadway opening last night at the Winter Garden Theatre, the West End production of School of Rock - The Musical will open at the London Palladium in Autumn 2016. Dates for the West End run will be confirmed in the New Year with details of when the production will go on sale.
