It is not often that Fringe venues act as platforms for important narratives from the older generation. Based on tonight’s performance of After All These Years, I can only ask ‘Why not?’.  After winning the 2023 Outstanding Theatre Award at Brighton Fringe, After All These Years transfers to the Jermyn Street Theatre where I am sure it will enjoy continued success.

Jermyn Street Theatre has revealed an eclectic programme of summer visitors, running over a two-month period from 4 July to 2 September.

The Mill at Sonning, the UK's only dinner theatre, has renamed its theatre The Ray Cooney Auditourium in honor of comedy legend Ray Cooney, whose classic farces have all been performed there, and whose incredibly generous financial support during lockdown helped ensure the venue's survival.

Casting is announced for a new production of the classic 1980s British farce 'Run for your Wife', directed by its author, Ray Cooney,  at The Mill at Sonning.

Coventry's Belgrade Theatre welcomes Hi-de-Hi star Jeffrey Holland in Arnold Ridley's classic comedy, The Ghost Train. Performance dates: Tues 12 - Sat 16 May; Press Night: Tues 12 May at 7.45pm.

Cleopatra is a captivating and beautiful ballet telling the story of one of the most celebrated women of the ancient world. Composer Claude-Michel SchÃ-nberg (Les Misérables, Miss Saigon) and Northern Ballet's artistic director David Nixon have worked together to create this unique blend of dance and drama which The Guardian picked as a Must See for 2011.
