Sideshow Theatre Company, in association with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, is pleased to open its 2013-14 season with the Chicago premiere of 9 CIRCLES by Bill Cain, directed by Marti Lyons, playing August 29 - October 6, 2013 at The DCASE Storefront Theater, 66 E. Sideshow Theatre Company is pleased to announce its full 2013/14 Season, beginning this fall with the Chicago premiere of Bill Cain's spellbinding drama 9 CIRCLES directed by Marti Lyons. This winter, Sideshow begins its residency at Victory Gardens Theater with the Chicago premiere of Roland Schimmelpfennig's THE GOLDEN DRAGON, translated by David Tushingham and directed by Artistic Director Jonathan L. Green and Marti Lyons. Sideshow's critically acclaimed 2012 production of Schimmelpfennig's Idomeneus earned the company a Jeff Award for Best Ensemble. Closing out its 25th Anniversary Season, Lookingglass Theatre Company presents the World Premiere of Big Lake Big City, written by Keith Huff and directed by Ensemble Member David Schwimmer. Sideshow Theatre Company continues its 2012/13 season with the Chicago premiere of MARIA/STUART by Jason Grote, directed by Marti Lyons, playing now through May 5, 2013 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago. MARIA/STUART features the work of Sideshow Ensemble member Nate Whelden (Stuart) and Artistic Associate Scottie Caldwell (Hannah) with Mary Anne Bowman, Ann James, Susan Monts-Bologna and Jennifer Joan Taylor. In just under 2 weeks, playwrights from around the world will begin arriving in Chicago to represent their country in this year's International Voices Project, running from March 7 to March 17 at Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago.

The Chicago League of Lady Arm Wrestlers are flexing their forearms once again at CLLAW XV today, February 16, 2013 at their super colossal new venue, the Logan Square Auditorium, 2539 N. Kedzie Ave. in Chicago. Brought to you by Sideshow Theatre Company, CLLAW's 15th match will feature fearsome lady arm wrestlers decked out in over-the-top outfits, an open bar, shady referees and audience participation all wrapped into one wild, crazy, theatrical event. Sideshow Theatre Company kicks off its 2012/13 season with the American premiere of the mythological mash-up IDOMENEUS by Roland Schimmelpfennig, translated by David Tushingham and directed by Sideshow Artistic Director Jonathan L. Green.

Sideshow Theatre Company delves into the reality and fantasy of one of America's most notorious serial killers, in the world premiere of Chicago playwright Calamity West's The Gacy Play. Developed with Sideshow over two and a half years, West's play looks under the floorboards of a nondescript suburban home, and reveals the many ghosts hiding underneath. The Gacy Play opens tonight, and we have a first look at the production photos below.

Today, the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), in partnership with the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture (COTC), announced the Fall 2012 Season at both DCA Theater venues: the DCA Storefront Theater, 66 E. Randolph Street, and the DCA Studio Theater in the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington Street.
