It is announced today that the Tony Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated actor Sophie Okonedo will join Damian Lewis in a new production of Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?  Directed by Ian Rickson, the production will play a strictly limited 12 week season at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 24th March to 24th June 2017.

Due to gloriumptious audience demand, Curve has not only announced an additional five performances of Roald Dahl's The Twits, but the classic tale of the most spiteful and revolting couple you could ever meet will also go on a national tour in 2017.

Adapted from Dick King-Smith's much-loved children's novel which inspired the Oscar-winning 1995 film, Babe, The Sheep-Pig will be brought to life on stage in an enchanting new production, embarking on a major UK Tour in 2017 following a Christmas season at Polka Theatre. Featuring stunning puppetry, an original score and an utterly charming 'baa-ber sheep' quartet, the tour will launch from West Yorkshire Playhouse on Monday 13 February and run until September 2017. Curve has announced its production of Ishy Din's play Wipers has been selected as a finalist of the Best Stage Production at this year's Asian Media Awards.

Curve today announces casting for their Christmas production of the hit musical Grease. Dex Lee and Jessica Paul lead the cast as Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski with Keisha Atwell, Darren Bennett, Sophie Camble, Jonny Fines, Courtney George, Luke George, Shobna Gulati, Patrick Harper, Abigayle Honeywill, Sophie Isaacs, Max Jorquera, Sinead Kenny, Nathanael Landskroner, Michael Lin, Martin McCarthy, Sam Murphy, Djalenga Scott, Justin Thomas and Natalie Woods completing the company. The production opens on 1 December, with previews from 26 November, and runs until 14 January.

Casting has been announced for THE AMERICAN WIFE, a new thriller coming to Park Theatre from 7 September - 1 October. Looking at the real human cost behind the war on terror and myriads of misinformation, the full cast includes: Julia Eringer, Vidal Sancho, George Taylor, Emilio Doorgasingh, Mitchell Mullen, Anne Wittman, Sanee Raval, Sophie Angelson, Lucia Henry Peragine and Sascha Petrou. The Press Night is Friday 9 September, 7pm.

Today, Curve Artistic Director, Nikolai Foster, announces the cast for his production of THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST. BAFTA and Golden Globe-nominated actress Cathy Tyson will star as the iconic Lady Bracknell in Foster's stylish reimagining of Wilde's much-loved comedy. Cathy is best known for her role in the multi-award winning film Mona Lisa, classic ITV drama series Band of Gold and her stage work with the RSC and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse.

?With an acclaimed revival of Legally Blonde still running in the theatre, Chief Executive Chris Stafford and Artistic Director Nikolai Foster announce a new season of Made At Curve productions for autumn and Christmas 2016.

The Everyman & Playhouse will spread Liverpool's cultural name beyond the city region again this year with a series of major collaborations. Working with Shakespeare's Globe to mark the bard's 400th anniversary year the theatres will co-produce The Two Gentlemen of Verona, directed by Associate Nick Bagnall which tours nationally and internationally before dates at the Everyman. Alumnus Jonathan Pryce leads the cast of The Globe's The Merchant of Venice at the Playhouse ahead of a world tour. The theatres will also co-produce Frank McGuinness's Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme with Headlong, Abbey Theatre, Dublin and Citizens Theatre, Glasgow at the Playhouse in June ahead of a national tour.

The Rainbow Theatre Project's Generation Q Staged Reading Series continues with a presentation of two works by British playwrights, beginning with the short play MR. FANTASTIC, by Kevin Jones (Wales), followed by the award-winning BEAUTIFUL THING by Jonathan Harvey (England).

Lucie rose to prominence on the X Factor in 2009 and has since starred as Victoria in American Psycho (Almeida Theatre) and as Molly in Ghost (Asia Tour).
