SILENCE! The Musical will be playing a revised schedule this coming weekend with performances Saturday at 2 & 8 PM and Sunday at 3PM at the Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that the 2013 Public Theater annual gala will celebrate the company's acclaimed 1980 production of the musical, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, with a one-night-only concert performance on Monday, June 10 at the Delacorte Theater where The Public's production originally premiered more than three decades ago. Sir Howard Stringer, Arielle Tepper Madover, and Renee Beaumont will serve as Gala Co-Chairs for this unforgettable evening that will also honor the late Nora Ephron who was a longtime Public Theater board member and consummate lover of Shakespeare in the Park.

SILENCE! The Musical is adding Sunday performances beginning this weekend, kicking off its new Spring schedule. Following the announcement that SILENCE! would be ending its long run at the end of 2012, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records held by the show. Subsequently, the producers determined that the production would reopen on January 19th. After opening initially at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, SILENCE! was extended numerous times by popular demand and transferred theatres twice, ultimately landing at the new Elektra Theatre which was constructed especially for the show.

Renowned musical theatre composer/lyricist, Scott Alan and Broadway star, Caissie Levy, perform music from Scott's extensive original songbook and share the inspiration and stories behind them. Scott's thoughtful and moving original compositions have made him a favorite among many well-known artists including Sutton Foster, Jonathan Groff, Stephanie J. Block and Liz Callaway. The evening features songs from his four original albums.

Tribes celebrated its Opening Night on Sunday, March 10 at the Mark Taper Forum. Written by Nina Raine, the CTG and Barrow Street Theatre production is directed by David Cromer in the play's West Coast Premiere. The Fulton Theatre continues its 2012/2013 season with a newly refreshed production of A Chorus Line, directed and choreographed by the Fulton's Artistic Director, Marc Robin. The production is a departure from what audiences may already be familiar with-the original staging and choreography by the show's creator, Michael Bennett. Featuring brand new choreography, Robin envisions a fresh take on the production.
