This Just In! Jonathan Groff will reprise his Off-Broadway performance in HAMILTON as King George, opposite Lin-Manuel Miranda, Christopher Jackson, Leslie Odom Jr., Phillipa Soo, Anthony Ramos, Daveed Digs and Renee Elise Goldsberry who will follow the show to Broadway. Plus, the cast is getting a little bit bigger with some new additions to the ensemble.

Acclaimed songwriter Scott Alan returns to London for a two-week residency at The Hippodrome Casino. Featuring a different guest each night, the nine concerts will celebrate Alan's work in nights filled with heartfelt songs, the stories behind them and many surprises.

Theatre Development Fund, the not-for-profit service organization for the performing arts, will honor three of the organization's 'Unsung Heroes' - Ted Chapin, Jeffrey Gural and Robert Zukerman at TDF's Gala tonight, June 15 at the Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street).

Kaufman & Edna Ferber's THE ROYAL FAMILY OF BROADWAY and provides preliminary details on the forthcoming revival of his groundbreaking Tony Award-winning musical FALSETTOS set to premiere later this season, as well. This past week The Public Theater celerbrated their 2015 Summer Gala, which included a special performance of the free Shakespeare in the Park production of THE TEMPEST, featuring a cast that included Sam Waterston and Jesse Tyler Ferguson and directed by Michael Greif. The summer gala also honored Bernard Spitzer (1924-2014) and Anna Spitzer for their extraordinary support over several years. The 2015 Public Theater summer gala featured appearances by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jonathan Groff, Laura Benanti, Sandra Oh, Peter Dinklage, Alan Rickman, Jane Lynch and many more.

Brandon Victor Dixon and Steven Pasquale will join the previously announced Sutton Foster in Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, running July 15 - 18, 2015 at New York City Center. (NOTE: Brandon Victor Dixon will replace the previously announced Joshua Henry, who has had a scheduling conflict.) The production will be directed by Leigh Silverman, with choreography by Sonya Tayeh. Jeanine Tesori is the Artistic Director of Encores! Off-Center and Chris Fenwick is Music Director.

BroadwayWorld.com has learned that the highly-acclaimed production of SPRING AWAKENING currently running through June 14 at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts is in active talks for a transfer to New York City after the show's West Coast run.

The Lobby Project, a series of free pre-show events presented in conjunction with the third season of New York City Center's Encores! Off-Center series, will take place June 24 - July 18 at City Center. The events will place the Off-Center musicals in the context of their legacies and provide insightful explorations of the work the audience is about to experience.

Author and Broadway personality Seth Rudetsky will be joined by Broadway favorites Julia Murney (Wicked), Priscilla Lopez (In The Heights), and more who will be reading excerpts from Seth's Broadway Diary, tonight, June 3rd from 6:00 - 7:00PM. The Tony Awards Pop-Up Shop is located at the Paramount Hotel and is open daily to visitors.

Lapham's Quarterly (Editor and Publisher Lewis Lapham) hosted their DECADES BALL: The 1780s last night, June 1 at Gotham Hall (1356 Broadway). The evening celebrated the 80th birthday of Lewis Lapham, who established the acclaimed literary magazine in 2007. BroadwayWorld has photos from the gala below!

Eddie Cooper and Joe Grifasi will join the previously announced Ellen Greene, Jake Gyllenhaal and Taran Killam in the Encores! Off-Center concert production of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken's Little Shop of Horrors, running for three performances, July 1-2, 2015 at New York City Center. Eddie Cooper replaces his father Chuck Cooper, who will be starring in the upcoming Broadway musical Amazing Grace.

As part of a new series of musical concert performances at the Royal Festival Hall, HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING made its London concert debut tonight, May 19. BroadwayWorld has a look at the cast onstage below!

The Lusty Month of May; like the song says: 'It's time to do a wicked thing or two!' It's May, the time when spring brings that hot-blooded, four letter word: lust. Musicals have had a steady history of lusty musical numbers. There are songs about rolling in the hay, and others extolling the virtues of different (ahem) flavors of man-candy. Some songs are paens to hot, steamy nights, and some are about what you do on those kind of nights. 

Jenni Barber, Quentin Earl Darrington, Bradley Dean, Dan Fogler, Ana Gasteyer, Josh Lamon, Aaron Lazar, Alyse Alan Louis and Rema Webb will join the previously announced Jonathan Groff in the Encores! Off-Center production of William Finn and James Lapine's A New Brain, running June 24 - 27, 2015. The production will be directed by James Lapine, with choreography by Josh Prince.
