GRAMMY award-nominated and Songwriters Hall Of Fame Inductee, Gordon Lightfoot performs his '50 Years on the Carefree Highway Tour' at The Colonial Theatre tonight, November 8 at 8pm.

Evermore! - Raven Theatre's quarterly showcase of performers from a variety of disciplines - will present its fall programs on two weekends in November. On Sunday, November 17, at 7:30 pm, the program will be Songwriters with Switchback - with the headlining duo Switchback joined by the singer-songwriters Anna Fermin and Al Rose. The following weekend, poet Marc Kelly Smith will perform his trio of original one act plays called Flea Market Friday, November 22 and Saturday November 23 at 8 pm and Sunday, November 24 at 3:30 pm.

As a child spinning his parents 45s in their Stockton, California home, Chris Isaak was obsessed with the glory days of Memphis' Sun Studio and the visionary artists who got their starts there, including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis--all of them discovered and nurtured by the late, great Sun Records founder Sam Phillips. In his Harris Center debut, performing in the intimacy of Stage One, Chris Isaak will perform many of these great Sun Studio songs from his Beyond the Sun CD.

Pittsburgh CLO has announced that the world premiere of Judge Jackie Justice - A New Musical Comedy will debut at the CLO Cabaret Theater on January 30 and will run through April 27. CMU graduates Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond are writing the musical, commissioned for the CLO's Cabaret Theater with dramaturgy by Mary Jane Brennan. The show is conceived and will be directed by Pittsburgh CLO Executive Producer Van Kaplan with choreography by Kiesha Lalama and musical direction by Michael Moricz.

The electrifying Tony Award-winning musical, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is set to continue its smash-hit run at Harrah's Las Vegas in 2014. As a 20-year cabaret veteran and 10-time MAC Award nominee (winning three), Sue Matsuki is nothing if not ambitious and a tad pretentious. How else to explain someone with both the chutzpah and the checkbook to stage a run of four shows at the Metropolitan Room (soon to become six) in which each show covers a different musical genre with a totally different set list and employs different directors, musical directors and bands? Just writing that sentence has me clutching my checkbook for deal life.
