Atlantic Theater Company has announced that the world premiere production of George Brant's play with music, Marie and Rosetta, starring Kecia Lewis (Mother Courage, Once on This Island) and Rebecca Naomi Jones (American Idiot, Hedwig and the Angry Inch) and directed by Atlantic Artistic Director Neil Pepe, has been extended an additional two weeks due to popular demand following opening last night to positive reviews.

The Tony nominated, rock n' roll megahit, Million Dollar Quartet, opens tonight, September 15, at The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival. The show runs until October 1 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse as part of the Festival's 2016 season. Based on the Dec. 4, 1956 recording session between Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis, 'Million Dollar Quartet' features over 21 hits by the legendary artists. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the beloved jukebox musical that tells the story of the one and only night that legendary rock icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins came together for an epic jam session at Sun Records Studio, will end its triumphant Las Vegas run on Dec. 4, 2016 at Harrah's Las Vegas. The cast will take its final bow inside Harrah's Showroom on the 60th anniversary of the night that inspired the critically-acclaimed production.

Cortland Repertory Theatre is announcing upcoming events for the fall months, most to be held at "CRT Downtown" located at 24 Port Watson Street in historic downtown Cortland. "This is our second year-round season, and we're planning more events than last year, with a wide variety to appeal to all tastes," Producing Artistic Director Kerby Thompson says. "Even though the summer is winding down, we've been keeping busy planning for the fall and winter months. We're very excited about what is coming next!"

Penobscot Theatre Company is proud to present The Grand Tour: A Celebration of the Music of George Jones, for two performances only, October 1 at 7:30 pm and October 2 at 3 pm. The show takes audiences on a retrospective journey through the Ol' Possum's career, from the early Hank Williams-influenced Honky Tonk recordings up through Jones's 'countrypolitan' era, including his chart-topping collaborations with fellow country music royalty. Songs include such favorites as 'White Lightning,' 'The Race is On,' 'Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes?' 'Love Bug,' 'She Thinks I Still Care,' and 'He Stopped Loving Her Today.'

Created by Richard Maltby Jr., Conceived by William Meade, with Orchestrations by Steven Bishopand Jeff Lisenby, Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash will run October 7-30, 2016 in the Canterbury Family Main Stage at the Addison Theatre Centre. The cast features Spencer Baker as Eddie, Ian Ferguson as Mark, Sonny Franks as David, Katrina Kratzer as Trenna, and Brian Mathis as Jason.
