Single tickets for Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! will go on sale Friday, Sept. 3 at 12:00 noon. The annual holiday musical, directed by James Vasquez with book and lyrics by Timothy Mason and music by Mel Marvin, will run in the Old Globe Theatre November 20 - December 26. Previews run from Nov. 20 - Nov. 24. Opening night is Nov. 26 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets to Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! are currently available to subscribers only. Ticket prices range from $39 to $77 for adults and from $20 to $57 for children. Performances are restricted to children 3 years and up except for the 11:00 a.m. performances for which tickets can be purchased for children of all ages. DuPont Theatre Opens Broadway Season with THE COLOR PURPLE, 9/14-19

The DuPont Theatre presents the Wilmington premier of THE COLOR PURPLE for a limited one-week engagement beginning September 14 through September 19, 2010 to launch its 98th Broadway Season. Performances of THE COLOR PURPLE at the DuPont Theatre are Tuesday through Sunday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening performances start at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday evening performances start at 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Ticket prices range from $50 to $75.
