Beavercreek Community Theatre's Children's Theatre will close its production of 'The Patchwork Girl of Oz' May 2. The play, based on the seventh book of L. Frank Baum's beloved series blends familiar characters from 'The Wizard of Oz' with new creatures for yet another delightful and magical trip to Oz.

'Assassins,' BCT's final show of the 2008-2009, is being presented by Edge of the Creek Productions, BCT's production arm dedicated to presenting more adult shows than the mainstream BCT productions. The show, at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and at 3 p.m. on Sundays from June 19 to June 28, lays bare the lives of nine individuals who assassinated or attempted to assassinate a president of the United States.

The entanglements of love are the roots of comedy for the next Beavercreek Community Theatre production, 'She Loves Me.'
Maraczek's Parfumerie is the setting for this romantic 60's-era musical about Georg Nowack, played by Adam Leigh of Kettering, and his co-workers, who lead quietly dreary lives as sales assistants in a little Budapest boutique until Amalia Balash shows up, looking for a job.
