The Show Goes On Productions (TSGO) is proud to announce QUEEN OF THE BEATNIKS: THE SONGS OF JUDY HENSKE is back by popular demand to the Cutting Room, this time with a new band! The show, written and performed by MEREDITH DIMENNA under the musical direction of JASON BINNICK will be at the Cutting Room, November 19th, 2013 at 8:00pm EST. Joe's Pub this week, Oct. 21-27, will feature performances by DEB OH & THE CAVALIERS, NIKKI M. JAMES, BEBE ZAHARA BENET, JEAN ROHE. SWEET CRUDE / ALEXIS & THE SAMURAI, ERIN MARKEY, THE REAL AMERICANS, RAVEN O-ICON, THE MATERIAL WORLD, BRIGHT LIGHT BRIGHT LIGHT, ROBIN SPIELBERG, SVEN RATZKE, MARTHA GRAHAM CRACKER, BAD REPUTATION VOLUME 2 CD RELEASE, and RYAN MONTBLEAU.

Hotel Nikko San Francisco has announced that during the month of October, they will help paint San Francisco pink as they donate all profits from Kanpai Lounge to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. Located in the lobby of Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco) Kanpai Lounge will offer specialty pink cocktails - in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month - in addition to an already extensive cocktail selection, light cuisine, and a full bar. In order to bring further awareness to the cause, Nikko will illuminate the hotel's exterior with pink lights outside, as well as sprinkle pink accents throughout the interior and staff uniforms.

This year's Gala will be led by BSO Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly. The concert features the band Pink Martini with vocalist Storm Large, who will collaborate with the BSO for an intoxicating mix of cabaret, samba, jazz and Hollywood musicals. National Public Radio's news correspondent Ari Shapiro, a frequent guest vocalist with Pink Martini, will perform.

Adelaide Cabaret Festival Artistic Director Kate Ceberano has upped the ante at this year's Festival with not one, not two, not even three leading ladies making their Adelaide Cabaret Festival debut but four divas will reign supreme, including both the good and bad witches of Broadway smash hit Wicked, Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel as well as Cassandra Wilson and Molly Ringwald.
