THE NATIONAL Theatre's internationally-acclaimed production of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time comes to Canterbury next month (March).

Still Game's Scott Reid is to star as Christopher Boone in The National Theatre's production of the Olivier award-winning The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time when it returns to the King's in August next year as part of a major UK and Ireland opening at the Lowry in Salford on 21 January.

?The final cast has been announced for Scott Evan Davis's concert on Sunday, September 18th at The Pheasantry. 

Celebrating 45 years since Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's seminal musical first hit the stage, Jesus Christ Superstar just opened at Regent's Park's Open Air Theatre, and already the production is eying the West End, according to the New York Post's Michael Riedel. He writes: 'I'm told Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice wouldn't mind a Broadway production either.'

Celebrating 45 years since Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's seminal musical first hit the stage, Jesus Christ Superstar is directed by Artistic Director Timothy Sheader. With a legendary score which includes I Don't Know How to Love Him, Gethsemane and Superstar, musical direction is by Tom Deering (Wonder.land, In the Heights and The Color Purple), design by Tom Scutt (Constellations, Les Liaisons Dangereuses and King Charles III, for which he has received a Tony Award nomination) and choreography by Drew McOnie (Jekyll & Hyde, The Lorax and In The Heights, for which he won the Olivier Award for Best Theatre Choreography).

Actor and musician Declan Bennett has successfully maintained dual, often intersecting careers as a singer-songwriter and musical theatre performer. He's had chart hits both with band Point Break and as a solo artist, and has tackled several iconic roles, including Roger in a US tour and Broadway run of Rent, Guy in the UK premiere of Once, and now Jesus in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Jesus Christ Superstar. This new production at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre celebrates 45 years since the show first opened, and the intimate, gig-like experience - with performers playing instruments - promises to be very different to the recent arena tour.

The UK's Sunday Show Tunes, in collaboration with Executive Producer Maureen Rejali, presents composer/lyricist Scott Evan Davis in concert live at The Pheasantry in London. UK artists will join Davis in performing music from his new recording, NEXT, his debut CD, Cautiously Optimistic, and other originals. Artists include: Rosemary Ashe, Ilan Galkoff, Joel Harper Jackson, Stuart Matthew Price, Charlotte Baker Wakefield and others to be announced. There will be one show on September 18th at 8pm, with doors opening at 6pm. The ticket price is £15. A full dinner menu and bar are available. Playwrights Horizons has announced casting for PLACEBO, the world premiere of a new play by Obie Award winner Melissa James Gibson (This at PH, What Rhymes with America, Suitcase, [sic], the FX series "The Americans," "House of Cards" on Netflix.). Directed by Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin (This at PH, The Fortress of Solitude, Bad Jews, 4,000 Miles, [sic]), the play will be the fourth production of the theater company's 2014/2015 Season.
