Lortel Statues for 14 categories and 2 special awards were handed out by celebrity presenters at the 2010 Lucille Lortel Awards at a live awards ceremony tonight at Terminal 5. Hosted by the Off-Broadway League, the live show was co-hosted by Bryan Batt and Bebe Neuwirth and featured performances by Alan Menken, STOMP, Seth Rudetsky, Edward Watts of The Fanasticks and LaChanze.

Seth Rudetsky-multi-talented actor, comedian, musician, radio host and published author has embarked on a breathless musical mission, his inspired new YouTube project: 31 Deconstructions in 31 Days! Since we always love to support the 'Broadway Ballyhoo' of Seth, we jumped at the chance to run his webisodes here on BWW TV. Day 1 has Seth deconstructing Patrick Wilson, Mark Price, Jared Zeus and Liz Larsen!

Michael Urie, currently co-staring in the Off-Broadway play THE TEMPERAMENTALS, will chat with Seth Rudestsky at tomorrow's edition of 'Seth's Broadway Chatterbox.' Seth's Broadway Chatterbox is a one hour weekly talk show hosted by Seth Rudetsky, and includes interviews and performances by noted Broadway celebrities. The show takes to the stage Thursday evenings @ 6 PM at Don't Tell Mama.
San Francisco Run of WICKED Will Close 9/5

The San Francisco production of the smash hit musical WICKED will play its final performance on Sunday, September 5, 2010, ending its record-breaking run at the Orpheum Theatre. Tickets are now on sale for all performances through September 5th. Upon closing, WICKED will have played 660 performances and 12 previews.

According to a recent Twitter post from the official Wicked the Musical Twitter account, the hit show will end its San Francisco run on September 5th. The production opened at the Orpheum Theatre on February 6, 2009.

The Lucille Lortel Awards recently hosted an reception for all 2010 Lucielle Lortel Award Nominees for the 25th Anniversary Lortel Awards Reception & Ceremony. The full Awards Reception will be held on May 2, 2010 at 6 PM EST with the Ceremony beginning at 8 PM EST at Terminal 5, 610 West 56th Street, between 11th & 12th Avenues. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's THE ALIENS Plays Through 5/23

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater will conclude its 15th Anniversary season with the world premiere of The Aliens, by Annie Baker (Circle Mirror Transformation, Body Awareness). Directed by Sam Gold (Circle Mirror Transformation, Rag and Bone), performances begin Wednesday, April 14th, 2010. Opening night is Thursday, April 22nd at 7pm. The show is scheduled to run through Sunday, May 23rd, 2010.
