Last night's, Joel Grey-directed, 25th anniversary staged reading of Larry Kramer's ground-breaking play, The Normal Heart was a phenomenal success. The cast featured Glenn Close, Victor Garber, Jason Butler Harner, John Benjamin Hickey, Joe Mantello,Jack McBrayer, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Patrick Wilson in the one-night-only event that benefited The Actors Fund and Friends In Deed. The historic reading took place at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) on Monday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m.

Producer Daryl Roth announced that Glenn Close will play the role of 'Dr. Emma Brookner' in the upcoming, Joel Grey-directed, 25th anniversary staged reading of Larry Kramer's ground-breaking play, The Normal Heart. After breaking ticket office records and selling out in record time in 2009, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton January 26, 2011 through February 20, 2011.

After breaking box office records and selling out in record time last year, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to Indianapolis' Murat Theatre at Old National Centre December 15-January 1. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale Friday, October 15.

In honor of its 7th Anniversary on Broadway on October 30, the blockbuster musical Wicked will host several special events and promotions throughout the month of October.

Tony Award winning actress Idina Menzel is set to perform on October 13 at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center's Cabaret gala. The event will be hosted by Katie Couric and will take place at 6:30pm. A black tie event will be held after the performance- tickets start at $2,000 per person.
