Alice Ripley, who received the 2009 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning NEXT TO NORMAL, will play her final Broadway performance on Sunday, July 18 at 7:30P. Ms. Ripley will reprise her acclaimed performance in the musical's 36-week multi-city North American tour, which arrives at the Providence Performing Arts Center from March 22 - 27, 2011. (more...)

Alice Ripley, who received the 2009 Tony AwardŽ for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in the Pulitzer Prize and Tony AwardŽ-winning Next to Normal, will return to San Diego, where she spent several years performing in local productions, to reprise her acclaimed performance in the musical's 36-week multi-city North American tour, launching November 23 at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. It will play in San Diego January 18-23, 2011 at the Balboa Theatre, as part of the current season of Broadway/San Diego ~ A Nederlander Presentation. (more...)

The New York Times is reporting that CELEBRITY AUTOBIOGRAPHY, which plays Monday nights at the Triad in New York has joined the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which runs from August 5- August 30. In addition, the show will venture to both Pittsburgh and and New Orleans this summer. The show will star Michael Urie and George Wendt. Additional casting is to be announced. (more...)
