Producer David Stone has announced the creative team and complete casting for If/Then, the upcoming world premiere musical by the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning creative team behind Next To Normal, Tom Kitt (music), Brian Yorkey (book and lyrics), and Michael Greif (director). Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Boston Landmarks Orchestra will present a concert version of Cole Porter's Kiss Me Kate with Broadway's Marc Kudisch* as Fred Graham/Patruchio and Kerry O'Malley* as Lilli Vanessi/Katherine. Steven Maler, Founding Artistic Director of Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Associate Artistic Director, Adam Sanders, will direct with Boston Landmark Orchestra's Music Director Christopher Wilkins, conducting. The free event will be held tonight, August 21st at 7:00PM at DCR's Hatch Shell on the Esplanade.

Bernice Bobs Her Mullet: A New Musical Comedy with book, music and lyrics by Joe Major will be performed once again at an exclusive, New York City reading before an invited audience of industry professionals on Friday, November 2nd at 2:00pm. Slated to perform the musical's revamped script and score are Andrew Call (American Idiot, Glory Days), Kathy Fitzgerald (9 to 5, The Producers) and Joe Aaron Reid (Ghost, NBC's "Smash"), as well as Devon Buchanan, KC Comeaux, Natalie Hiatt, Dana Mierlak and Kassie Carroll as the show's title character, Bernice.

According to the Herald Sun, GHOST, which was to make its Australian premiere at Her Majesty's Theatre in August 2013, has been postponed due to poor advance sales. Producer Louise Withers told HS: 'It's always disappointing when there is a postponement like this but it's a very complicated business. Initially we thought we would be able to use the UK set but it will take too long to transport it in Australia where the market has to be reduced, based on the shorter seasons the show has had in the UK and the US.'

Ghost The Musical will play its final performance on Broadway tonight, August 18th at 8pm, after 39 previews and 136 regular performances.
