If you were going to see GHOST THE MUSICAL and looking for references to the original movie with Patrick Swayze (Sam) and Demi Moore (Molly), you would have seen a lot of them. Yes, the popular song, 'Unchained Melody' was included. Yes, Molly does sculpting and Sam works on Wall Street. The live production actually follows the movie closely since Bruce Rubin wrote both the screenplay and play script. But, if you were going solely to relive your memories of the original, then you would have been disappointed. GHOST THE MUSICAL is a wonderful production by itself and is worthy of its own iconic references.

The producers of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical Jersey Boys have announced that Joseph Leo Bwarie and Nick Cosgrove will assume the role of Frankie Valli in the Broadway cast on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Mr. Bwarie, who made his Broadway debut in the show last year, has played the role of Frankie Valli nearly 1,700 performances (including Las Vegas, the 1st national tour and Broadway). Mr. Cosgrove makes his Broadway debut direct from the national tour. After nearly 6 years with the production between the Broadway, Las Vegas and Chicago companies, Dominic Scaglione Jr. will play his final performance as Frankie Valli on Sunday, January 26, 2013.

Rehearsals are underway for Christopher Durang's 2013 Tony Award-winning comedy, 'Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike,' directed by Tony Award and Emmy Award-winner David Hyde Pierce, based on the Broadway direction of Nicholas Martin. 'Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike' will be presented at the Mark Taper Forum, January 29 through March 9, 2014. The opening is scheduled for February 9. Following the first date, moderated by the production's director Sean Mathias, talk back dates include Thursdays, February 6, February 13, February 20 and February 27. After the performance of NO MAN'S LAND on Thursday, January 23, Sean Mathias and the actors will discuss Harold Pinter's play and answer audience questions about the production and the acclaimed repertory season. The ticketed audience for each performance is welcome to stay, free of charge, for the talk back. A ticket is required for the performance.
