Josh Kaufman, who in May of 2014 was announced as the winner of Season 6 of NBC's hit show 'The Voice' as a member of Usher's team, will make his Broadway debut in Pippin a little earlier than expected.

Producers Whoopi Goldberg, TROIKA Entertainment, LLC and Sister Act On Tour, LLC, present the second National Tour of SISTER ACT, which launched October 14 at the DuPont Theatre in Wilmington, DE. SISTER ACT received five 2011 Tony Award nominations including BEST MUSICAL, BEST ORIGINAL SCORE (Alan Menken (music)/Glenn Slater (lyrics), and BEST BOOK OF A MUSICAL (Cheri & Bill Steinkellner and Douglas Carter Beane). Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the award-winning worldwide smash hit Broadway musical, is returning to Seattle as part of the KeyBank Broadway at The Paramount series. Produced by NETworks Presentations, this elaborate theatrical production will come to life on stage at The Paramount Theatre from today, October 21 - 26, 2014.

Well, AMAZING GRACE is that show, and this expensive-looking, high-aiming show that's been in development since 2007, with book, music and lyrics by Christopher Smith (the book is co-written with the veteran playwright Arthur Giron) opened on Sunday night. So far, so good!
