Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Renee Blinkwolt, Managing Director) has announced performers slated to appear at The Ars Nova Revolution, celebrating Ars Nova All Stars Jill Furman, Thomas Kail and Lin-Manuel Miranda, from Freestyle Love Supreme (Ars Nova, 2004) to Hamilton (Broadway, 2015), in a night of revelry benefiting Ars Nova's artist community.  The Ars Nova Revolution, taking place Monday, September 21 at 6:30pm at The Edison Ballroom, features performances by Daveed Diggs, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Mandy Gonzalez, Jonathan Groff, Christopher Jackson, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Jo Lampert, Arthur Lewis, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Okieriete Onaodowan, Anthony Ramos, Bill Sherman, Phillipa Soo, Chris Sullivan, Shaina Taub, Anthony Veneziale, and more.

An alt folk opera written by and starring husband and wife duo Shaun and Abigail Bengson, Hundred Days is the fierce, triumphant story of a young couple who fall in love, only to have their time together cut short by a fatal illness. With the brash intensity of youth, they decide to try and live the 100 days they have left together as though it were the 60 years they had imagined they would have.

Lisa Steindler, Artistic Director of Z Space announced a collaboration between the world premiere of Hundred Days, a folk rock odyssey, and San Francisco's popular Noise Pop Festival. The Thursday, February 27 preview has been designated as a special performance to be included in the Noise Pop Festival lineup. Conceived and created by up-and-coming duo The Bengsons, Hundred Days redefines the concert as well as the musical theater experience. As part of San Francisco's favorite indie music, arts and film festival, the preview on February 27 comes days before the show's world premiere on Saturday, March 1. Hundred Days runs through April 6, 2014 at Z Space (450 Florida Street, San Francisco).

Redefining the concert as well as the musical theater experience, this project resonates with the Z Space mission to experiment, re-invent and stretch boundaries. Directed by Obie Award winner, Anne Kauffman, Hundred Days presents a touching journey about love, loss, and life, leaving audiences wondering how they might spend their last hundred days. New York's AVAN LAVA went on their first national tour, opening for Little Boots in May, and earlier sold out their headlining show at Brooklyn's Williamsburg Music Hall in March, they finally visited Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Boston and Chicago. New composer Trevor Bachman made his Joe's Pub debut on Monday, August 12 in Songs of a Brave Soldier- a musical chronicle of truth. Wielding music as a storytelling force, this evening of rock, soul, and classical styles is a sampling of two original musicals (Pyre Cantata and Coromandel), as well as brand new songs. Bachman is an indie music theatre composer/lyricist with an eclectic sound, fusing tight harmonies, soulful grooves and addictive melodies, creating an emotional theatrical experience.
