UP Comedy Club is known for bringing the best stand-up comedy talent in the country to Chicago. This fall's line-up features many of the best-known names in comedy, including UP favorites Kyle Kinane and Greg Proops, returning to the UP stage once again after countless sold-out shows. Also returning to UP are Nick Thune, Moshe Kasher and Dana Gould. Appearing at UP for the first time are Bridget Everett and Dave Hill, Judah Friedlander, Jeff Ross, Yannis Pappas, Jerrod Carmichael and Todd Glass. Each show includes a feature stand-up comic and a local emcee who hosts the evening.

Tony Award-nominee Annaleigh Ashford and star of Book Of Mormon and War Horse, Matt Doyle will headline "Chasing The Day" a new song cycle by songwriter and Kinky Boots Associate Music Director Will Van Dyke. They will also be joined by If/Then star Tamika Sonja Lawrence and Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal) at 54 Below on Monday, November 17, 2014. The four actors will play two shows on November 17th (7:00 PM & 9:30 PM), with direction by Kerry Whigham and musical direction by Dominick Amendum. Originally released as an album on Sh-K-Boom Records in October 2010, Van Dyke's Chasing the Day has been reimagined as a song cycle about breaking up, breaking down, and breaking through, and will soon be available for theatrical licensing. NBC tied for #1 for the night among the Big 4 in 18-49, as “American Ninja Warrior” tied for the #1 show of the night on those nets. Despite last week's preemption and this week's Labor Day holiday, “Ninja” was up +6% vs. its prior telecast.

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and “Late Night with Seth Meyers” have scored dominant wins for the late-night ratings week of Aug. 18-22, with Fallon beating his broadcast competition in every key measure and Meyers encores winning in adults 18-49 versus both his time-period competition and CBS's first-run “Late Show with David Letterman,” which starts an hour earlier than “Late Night.”
