Comedy Central Greenlights THE HIGH COURT with Doug Benson to Series

Real cases. Real plaintiffs. Real high judge. The “highest court in the land” just took on a new meaning in “The High Court,” a new Comedy Central series from comedian Doug Benson, it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Comedy Central. Set to premiere in early 2017, “THC,” is a fifteen-minute strip series featuring “Judge Doug” as he gets high and rules on real small claims court cases. Executive produced by Benson, Bruce Smith, JASH's Daniel Kellison and Propagate's Ben Silverman, Howard Owens and Kevin Healey, “The High Court” concept is loosely born from Benson and JASH's popular YouTube show, “Getting Doug with High.”

ABC News' “Nightline” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.550 million) during the week of October 3, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” beat CBS' “The Late Late Show with James Corden” (1.223 million) by 327,000 and NBC's “Late Night with Seth Meyers” (1.489 million) by 61,000.
