NBC (11.24 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.0, #1) topped the charts on Monday with its mix of 'The Voice' (11.95 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.2, #T1), 'NBC News Special' (11.54 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 4.2, #T1) and 'Debate Analysis' (8.93 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 3.1, #3).

At 9 p.m. ET, 'Grimm' (1.4/5 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall) captured the #1 rating of the night for a scripted program on ABC, CBS and NBC and Fox in 18-49 for a fourth straight week. Note that last week 'Grimm' delivered the highest percentage time-shifting increases of any primetime series on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox when going from these next-day 'live plus same day' Nielsens to 'live plus three day' figures, growing by 60 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.51 from a 1.57) and by 43 percent in total viewers (to 7.1 million from 5.0 million).

NBC's 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' has delivered #1 results for the late-night week of October 8-12, generating bigger audiences in every key category than the time-period competition of CBS's 'Late Show with David Letterman' and ABC's combination in that hour of 'Nightline' and 'Jimmy Kimmel Live.' Jay led that competition across the board, with bigger audiences in adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of 'The Voice' (1.1/4 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall) delivered NBC's top non-sports 18-49 rating in the time period since March 2 and delivered the network's biggest overall audience for non-sports programming in the hour since May 18. From its first half-hour to its second, the 'Voice' rebroadcast grew in every key category, including a gain of 20 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.2 from a 1.0).

During the first week of October 2012, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live grew for the 5th week in a row in both Total Viewers (+3%) and Adults 18-49 (+6%) to score its best numbers in 4 months - since the weeks of 6/11/12 and 6/18/12, respectively. JKL also grew over the same week last year in both viewers (+10%) and young adults (+1%), standing as the only broadcast talk show in late-night to grow year over year in either Nielsen measure.
