Following their St. Joan Betrayed, Mary Tuomanen and Aaron Cromie are returning to this year's Neighborhood Fringe during Fringe Arts with The Body Lautrec. This inventive theatre piece will run September 12-22 at the Caplan Studio Theater at the University of the Arts, 211 S. Broad Street. Tickets cost $25 and are available at www.fringearts.com.
John Tartaglia & Michael Shawn Lewis' Gables Grove Productions to Expand for Carnival

Gables Grove Productions Inc. (GGP) has announced the expansion of two of their successful original Carnival Cruise Lines family entertainment experiences. Towel Animal Theater, which launched in 2012 and is now in production on 12 Carnival ships, will be produced on most of the fleet - 22 ships-- by the end of 2015. Seuss-a-Palooza Storytime and Parade, which made its premiere in February 2014 and is now on four ships, has inked a deal to be on the entire fleet - 24 ships - by the end of 2015.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Disney might bring the beloved characters from 1984's THE MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN to the Great White Way. The New York Post's Michael Riedel reports that the Walt Disney Company, which has had the rights to the Muppets since 2004, is 'exploring the possibility' of a Muppet musical coming to one of Jujamcyn's five theaters.
