Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theatre of California, announces the cast and creative team for the Los Angeles Premiere of King Charles III by Mike Bartlett, the second production of the 2017/18 Centennial Season of the Pasadena Playhouse, which also serves as Producer Artistic Director Danny Feldman's inaugural season.

ZERO HOUR, Jim Brochu's acclaimed play about the life of theatre legend Zero Mostel, returns to its original home, opened last night, Wednesday June 14th, at the Theatre at Saint Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between Ninth & Tenth Avenues) for a limited engagement through July 9th only. The performance was followed by a gala celebration at Sardi's with guests including Sondra Lee, Tony Sheldon, Charles Busch, Howard McGillin, Donna McKechnie, Lee Roy Reams, Billy Stritch, Jim Caruso, David Staller, Lynn Sher (ABC News), Jeanne Lehman, Kurt Peterson, Blake Zolfo, and more. The Rainmaker, BroadHollow Theatre Company's current offering, seems to be produced quite often; and that's ok. It's nice to break away from the glitz and fluffiness and see a raw, truly emotional play that makes you feel. The melodrama, by N. Richard Nash, is now running at BroaHollow's BayWay Theatre in East Islip, Long Island, through June 28th continuing at their Elmont location beginning July 11th.

Charles Busch launched his return to 54 Below last night, October 17. Among the fans at 54 Below cheering Busch on were Tony Award winner Jim Dale, and star of Busch's The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Michele Lee.

Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Don Gregory, has announced the full company for the new Broadway production of Mary Chase's Harvey starring Jim Parsons (Elwood P. Dowd), Jessica Hecht (Veta Louise Simmons), Charles Kimbrough (William R. Chumley, M.D.), Larry Bryggman (Judge Omar Gaffney), Carol Kane (Betty Chumley), Peter Benson (E.J. Lofgren), Tracee Chimo (Myrtle Mae Simmons), Holley Fain (Ruth Kelly, R.N.), Angela Paton (Mrs. Ethel Chauvenet), Rich Sommer (Duane Wilson), Morgan Spector (Lyman Sanderson, M.D.) and directed by Scott Ellis.
