The Women's Division of Albert Einstein College of Medicine hosted its 61st Annual Spirit of Achievement Luncheon on Tuesday, May 19th at the Rainbow Room, honoring Candice Bergen, Renee Fleming and Einstein faculty members Daphne T. Hsu, M.D., and Robert H. Pass, M.D. Both are leading pediatric heart specialists at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore, the pediatric division of Einstein's University hospital. The Marfan Foundation honored Isaiah Austin, the former Baylor University basketball star, and Carolyn Levering, Emeritus CEO of The Marfan Foundation, with its 2015 Hero with a Heart Award at the 15th Heartworks last night, April 16, in New York City. Michael Bloomberg, Jill Martin, & Walt Clyde Frazier were in attendance, enjoying entertainment by Broadway's Megan Hilty. Tony Award winner James Naughton acted as emcee. In celebration of the 10 th annual Guinness World Records Day and the 60 th anniversary of the Guinness World Records book, fashion designer Kenneth Cole partnered with Today Show Contributor Jill Martin to create the world's largest high-heeled shoe. The shoe was unveiled live Thursday, November 13 th on the Today Show during the ten o'clock hour with Kathie Lee and Hoda.
